SLOPE CONTROL is a year round fine fescue seed blend. SLOPE CONTROL is one half Chewing Fescue, one quarter Hard Fescue and one quarter Sheep Fescue. These varieties of fine fescue are extremely hardy in the arid climates of Southern California due to their deep penetrating root systems. SLOPE CONTROL is also excellent in cooler climate regions as well as partial shade areas. SLOPE CONTROL adapts itself well to  marginal soils, and becomes a beautiful emerald green that grows to an established height of 14 to 16 inches. The blades will lay over slightly to produce a flowing green wave that never has to be mowed. As for  holding an incline slight to severe, SLOPE CONTROL’S aggressive  roots do the job of maximum erosion protection where others can’t.
